Guest lecture: Fault-Tolerant Quantum Computing and Resource Estimation
Brian Goldsmith is a Quantum Application Software Developer at PsiQuantum. His work focuses on fault-tolerant quantum computing, quantum software, and resource estimation.
In this guest lecture, Brian will discuss what it takes to move from quantum algorithms on paper to computations that can run on fault-tolerant quantum computers. He will also spend time talking about his path into quantum computing, how he sees the field developing, and where he sees opportunities for students entering the field.
